Andrew K. Smith - President, Founder of AxisPointe / HomeWorx

Mr. Andrew Smith serves as our manager and president. He is also AxisPointe’s president and a member of its board of directors. He has over 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, finance and management. Currently in his positions for both HomeWorx™ and AxisPointe, he oversees the sales, strategic and business development relations. Before starting AxisPointe in January of 2003, Mr. Smith founded CaptureQuest Inc. (“CaptureQuest”) in 1998, an online marketing technology company that created a patented application called the “Popmercial.” CaptureQuest was acquired in October of 2002 by C5 Technologies, Inc., which then became publicly traded as Avalon Digital Marketing Systems Inc. (NSQ: AVLN). While working with CaptureQuest, Mr. Smith secured ongoing services agreements with several Fortune 500 companies, including, Citibank, BMW, Jaguar, The Home Depot, Motorola, Novell, Corel, and others. Mr. Smith also structured and raised angel, venture and investment bank financing in excess of $20 million. Mr. Smith received a bachelor of arts in marketing communications and finance from the University of Phoenix.

Frank Tate - Executive Vice President of HomeWorx

Mr. Frank Tate currently serves as vice president for both HomeWorx™ and AxisPointe. As one of the original founders of the HomeWorx™ concept, Mr. Tate has been able to draw on almost twenty years of experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining HomeWorx™, Mr. Tate owned and operated a residential construction company specializing in custom design/build applications. Mr. Tate has been able to draw upon many years of customer service, marketing and sales experience in one of the highest demanding arenas, new homebuyers. After constructing nearly 300 single family homes, he began a customer service consulting firm specializing in post-closing custom service and quality assurance for the multifamily construction industry conducting nearly one thousand new home orientations. Along with a degree of bachelor of business administration from Georgia State University, Mr. Tate also holds certificates as an International Code Council Residential Mechanical Inspector and Residential Building Inspector.

Aaron Smith - Vice President, HomeWorx Operations

Mr. Aaron Smith serves as the director of operations and is responsible for the coordination of all franchisee training, onsite support services, implementation of the HomeWorx™ products and services and system compliance with all franchises nationwide. He has over 8 years of experience in operations, finance, and project management. Mr. Smith has worked closely with AxisPointe’s internal technology (IT) team to architect and develop the patent-pending “HomeProfile®” system. Before AxisPointe, Mr. Smith worked for an online marketing and development firm called CaptureQuest where he was in charge of operations and finance until they were acquired by a publicly traded company and became Avalon Digital Marketing Systems. Mr. Smith aided the acquisition by completing two public audits by Tanner & Robinson in order to meet SEC guidelines. Before working for CaptureQuest, Mr. Smith worked at Bank One and CitiFinancial in their customer retention divisions as a supervisor of customer service representatives that dealt with dispute resolution. Mr. Smith is seeking his bachelor of arts in business management and finance from Utah Valley University.

Chad Gilpin - Director of Franchise Sales

Mr. Chad Gilpin serves as the Director of Franchise Sales. Mr. Gilpin began working for AxisPointe Inc. in October of 2005. Mr. Gilpin has extensive leadership experience with AxisPointe and HomeWorx. His positions with the companies include: Sales Executive, Corporate Sales Trainer, Director of Corporate Sales and now Director of Franchise Sales. Prior to joining AxisPointe and HomeWorx, Mr. Gilpin owned and operated PBC’s Dream, an Atlanta, GA based restaurant. Mr. Gilpin owned and operated PBC’s Dream from March 2003 until joining AxisPointe in October 2005. Mr. Gilpin received his bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Valdosta State University.

Fred Chaney - Director of HomeWorx Marketing

Mr. Fred Chaney currently serves as HomeWorx’s Director of Marketing. Mr. Chaney manages the daily fulfillment process for the physical creation and delivery of HomeWorx™ and AxisPointe’s products. In addition, he has been involved in the establishment of best practices and ensures that quality assurance targets are continually achieved. Mr. Chaney has experience working in numerous management roles over the past 15 years, including advertising and marketing, web-based solutions and technology for companies such as Red Rock Marketing, L.L.C., The Borges-Lamont Company and CaptureQuest. Mr. Chaney holds a degree in marketing from Brigham Young University.
